My personal involvement with holistic therapies started in 2000 when I first qualified in Aromatherapy and Massage and later in Reflexology. These qualifications are accredited through the International Federation of Aromatherapists and the Association of Reflexologists. I subsequently trained in Indian Head Massage, Emotional Therapy, NLP Core Skills, Reiki and Reflexology. I run my practice from my home in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire; a comfortable and tranquil oasis much loved by my clients.
I believe in tailoring my treatments to each individual client and I will spend time to get to know you and your needs. If for any reason, I conclude that treatment is unwise I will tell you so. My clients have to trust me if they are truly to relax and get the best from the treatment. I always aim to create the most relaxing conditions and leave nothing to chance in terms of comfort and environment.
It seems to me, that modern society defines “well” as simply being the absence of disease. In my experience, you can be without specific diseases and still feel pretty terrible! Stress can have a powerful impact on your sense of wellbeing. Few of us are immune to stress imposed by work, relationships, family, children, personal finances, family bereavement or caring for the terminally ill, let alone our own illnesses and aging.
Wellbeing defines a state of being comfortable and satisfied with your health, happiness and sense of self. Things may not always be perfect but you are content with where you are and how you feel about your present and future. Holistic therapies can play an important role in helping you to create your sense of wellbeing.
On meeting, Sarah exudes an air of calm and competence and you know straight away that it is going to be a wonderful reflexology session. I felt at ease immediately. Sarah was always attentive. Any health or emotional issues that came up in the consultation were carefully dealt with and questions answered. I left feeling cared for, nutured and wonderful. Thank you Sarah.
